Thankyou for choosing our MEA PC based DVR for your security solution, please follow the steps below to download and begin using your new remote view software. |
Step 1. Download and Install the following program -
-> DVR Client <-
Step 2. Once Installed double click your newly created "DVR Network Client" desktop icon.
Step 3. Enter your username and password, the defualt for a new installation is :- Username : admin Password : admin
Step 4. Once the program has opened select the "Server List" button in the top left hand corner as highlighted below.
Step 5. On the following screen you can enter the details for the DVR at your premises, see below for further instructions.
| - Click "New" |
| - In the Name field enter the name you wish for your premises. |
| - The "Host ID" can be whatever you wish as a quick description for this server entry. i.e mycams or workcams |
| - Enter the static IP address for the premises where the DVR is located. If you are unsure of this you can access the Internet from any computer using the same internet connection as your camera system and visit www.whatismyip.com and the IP address will be given to you. |
| - The default port is 8081. |
| - Your username and password is the same as the ones used to log onto your DVR, the default is admin/admin. |
| - Click "Add" |
Step 6. Once your details are entered and you have clicked the "Add" button your DVR will be added to your server list as seen below.
Step 7. Highlight the DVR you wish to view and click on the "connect" button, your camera's should now appear for you to watch. To end your session simply click the "disconnect" button as highlighted below.
NOTE : The speed at which your camera's are viewable is dependant on the speed of the internet at both the premises where the DVR is located and the premises at which you are viewing the camera's from. To increase the speed please contact your Internet provider to discuss your options.
